The app has a new name, Jawlyn. Nothing else in this policy has changed since September 9, 2026.

Jawlyn keeps your data on your phone. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server holding your answers, your plan, or your photos. This page explains exactly what stays on your device and the little that leaves it.

What never leaves your device

• Your progress photos. They are saved in Jawlyn's private storage on your phone. They are never uploaded, never backed up to us, and we cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
• Your onboarding answers: your goals, the time you have each day, your bedtime, your first name.
• Your 30-day plan, your streak, and your daily check-ins.
• Your reminder settings and the notifications themselves, which are scheduled locally by your phone.

What is sent, and to whom

Jawlyn uses three services. None of them receives your name, your email, your photos, or any image from your camera.

• RevenueCat manages your subscription. It receives an anonymous identifier generated by the app, your device type, and your subscription status. It never receives your payment details.
• PostHog (hosted in the European Union) provides usage analytics: which screens are opened, whether a session was completed, whether the paywall was shown, including anonymous recordings of how the app's screens are used. Tied to the same anonymous identifier, and never to your photos, which no analytics can reach.
• Sentry (hosted in the European Union) receives crash and performance reports, so we can fix what breaks.

Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple Account.

What we do not do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No tracking of your activity across other apps or websites. Jawlyn does not ask for tracking permission because it does not track you.
• No selling or sharing of data with data brokers.
• No profiling, no scoring. Jawlyn does not rate your face, by design.

Face data, camera and photo library

Jawlyn does not collect face data. The app does not detect, analyze, measure, recognize, or track faces, and it creates no biometric template, faceprint, or facial identifier of any kind. Nothing about your face is ever stored, shared, or transmitted.

The camera is used in two places, and in both it stays on your device:

• The optional "face scan" step of onboarding shows a live front-camera preview for about ten seconds. It is only a preview: no photo is taken, no video is recorded, no frame is read or processed, and nothing is written, saved, or sent anywhere. The step produces no data at all, and your plan is built from your questionnaire answers whether you go through it or skip it.
• Optional progress photos that you choose to take yourself. They are saved only in Jawlyn's private storage on your phone, shown back to you side by side, and never uploaded. No analysis is run on them.

Jawlyn asks for camera or photo access only when you reach one of these two steps. You can refuse access and keep using every other part of the app.

Retention and deletion. The scan retains nothing, so there is nothing to delete. Progress photos stay on your phone until you delete them, use Settings → Clear My Data, or delete the app. We never hold a copy, so there is no copy for us to keep or to share with anyone.

Deleting your data

Settings → Clear My Data erases everything Jawlyn stored on your phone (answers, plan, progress and photos). This cannot be undone. Deleting the app does the same.

For the anonymous analytics and crash reports described above, write to us at the address below and we will delete the records linked to your identifier.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing. Since Jawlyn holds no account and no directly identifying data, most of this is already in your hands through Clear My Data. For anything else, write to us.

Children

Jawlyn is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
